Belleville Police say a man shot early Sunday in the city’s north end died.
The shooting took place just before 2 a.m. outside a North Front Street establishment.
Emergency crews were on the scene within minutes and one male victim was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police have identified the victim as 34-year-old Jesse Weekes of Quinte West.
No arrests have been made.
