A Wellington resident is looking to make the jump from school board trustee to Prince Edward County councillor.
Jennifer Cobb has filed papers to run in Ward 3, Wellington.
She has been the North Prince Edward County Trustee on the Hasting and Prince Edward District School Board for the past 12 years.
Cobb says she has the time, community connections and skills to be an excellent representative of the Wellington community.
She will be the third candidate in Ward 3, joining Heather Norlock and Corey Engelsdorfer.
Mike Harper currently holds the only Ward 3 seat on council but has not announced if he is running again.
