A Marysville couple and Belleville General Hospital were both winners Thursday morning.
Pat and Laurie Gartland won an RV worth $35,000 in the Belleville General Hospital Foundation’s first Camp4Cancer Super Draw.
Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk drew the winning ticket at Carl Cox RV.
With 6,900 tickets sold, the draw raised almost $140,000 for the Dr. Douglas A. Macintosh Oncology Clinic.
Proceeds will provide essential medical equipment for the regional cancer clinic and offer access to drugs not traditionally covered by Cancer Care Ontario.
Jamie Kort of Belleville won the second prize, a one week stay at Quinte’s Isle resort while third prize went to Belleville’s Robert McPherson who won an EPeak electric bicycle.
