A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault at a restaurant in Colborne.
Northumberland O-P-P say a man punched a patron several times in the head at the King Street business late yesterday afternoon, and fled after a knife fell from his clothing.
The victim suffered bruising and abrasions to his head.
Thomas Kearns of Colborne was arrested a short time later, and was charged with assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
