Belleville police are investigating a break and enter in which cash and items worth a total of $32,000 were stolen.
Police say a suspect entered a house off Maitland Drive late Wednesday morning and stole two purses worth $15,000, a watch valued at $14,000, and $3,000 cash.
A suspect was seen leaving the residence carrying a duffle bag.
