Building activity in Quinte West was up slightly in the month of May.
The municipality issued 100 permits with a construction value of $16.6 million last month, up from May 2021’s 92 permits worth $13.3 million.
Construction on 29 new residential units accounts for $13.2 million of last month’s total.
Year to date, Quinte West has granted 314 permits with a $68 million construction value.
Through the first five months of 2021, 322 permits were issued however their value was just over $54 million.
