Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings has elected a new executive committee including a new board chair.
At Tuesday’s Annual General Meeting, Kathryn Brown was named Board Chair replacing Jill Raycroft.
John-Ross Parks is Vice Chair and Sheridan Jennings will serve as Secretary.
Karen Baker continues as Treasurer.
Brown calls it a privilege to have the full support of the Board of Directors and says their goal is to make a meaningful contribution to addressing the housing crisis in the community.
Habitat Executive Director Hazzem Koudsi commented that Raycroft has set the foundation for them to grow and build upon and looks forward to having an equally productive relationship with Brown.
