Two Belleville residents are facing multiple charges following a search by the Belleville Police Child Exploitation Unit earlier this month.
On May 5, officers executed a search warrant at an east end home and seized a number of electronic devices.
Cyrus Uhrig, 26, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
He is to appear in court on July 21.
Less than a week later, officers executed another search warrant at an east end home, arresting 33-year-old Mark Miranda.
Police initially became aware of the suspect in 2017 and continued an investigation resulting in a search warrant being obtained.
Officers seized a number of electronic devices and charged Miranda with three counts each of possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.
He will also appear in court on July 21.
The Child Exploitation Unit was assisted by the Emergency Response Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and Tech Crimes Unit.
