The provincial government is giving Centre Hastings some help in fighting climate change.
The municipality and the Managing Our Carbon Emissions In Centre Hastings project will get almost 80-thousand dollars over two years from the Community Go Green Fund.
The local project is an education program on the importance of forests, energy conservation, waste reduction and eating local foods, with an aim of reducing carbon emissions in Hastings County by three per cent next year.
