Peter Goulet will no longer serve as Coach and General Manager of the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Monday afternoon, owners of the Junior A hockey club Rod Finney, Sandy Smith, and Shawn Hicks released the following statement, “We wish to thank Peter for his tireless efforts behind the bench. Peter brought a great attitude, a winning desire, and always put the players first. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward.”
Goulet will remain with the team in an unannounced capacity.
The Golden Hawks were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Haliburton County Huskies.
