A Belleville man has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash near Westport on the weekend.
Leeds County OPP responded to the single vehicle collision on Perth Road south of Westport around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigation indicates the westbound driver was ejected from the machine while making a left turn at Centreville Road.
The motorcycle ended up in the ditch.
Sixty-seven-year-old Kenneth Brightwell of Belleville was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist.
