Belleville police responded to 80 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on May 10, 2022 to 5 a.m. on May 11, 2022.
Motor Vehicle Collision
At approximately 7 a.m., Belleville police responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle in the city’s east end industrial park. The motorcycle rider sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The Belleville Police Service Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the circumstances of the collision. Public Intoxication
On May 11, 2022 at 9:23 p.m., Belleville police responded to a location in the east end of the city where a male was causing a disturbance. Officers located a 26-year-old male Belleville resident who was intoxicated and yelling at his spouse. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to Belleville Police Service. He was held until he was sober and able to care for himself.
