Occasional Elementary School teachers with the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board have a new contract.
Trustees approved the four-year deal for the 590 teachers, members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, when they met last night.
The contract, ratified by the teachers on March 31st, is retroactive to September of last year.
The daily rate of pay will increase from 191-50 at the start of the contract to just over 220 dollars by September, 2011.
