Three people face break and enter, mischief, and breach of probation charges after reports that people had broken into a construction site along Belleville’s North Front Street and were damaging the property.
City police responded shortly after 6 o’clock in the evening Monday to find damage and discovered some tools had gone missing.
Thirty-six-year-old Michael Primeau, 34-year-old Bruce Cooney, and 43-year-old Louise Hall, all of no fixed address were charged.
Meanwhile, shortly after that incident police charged 45-year-old Michelle Mills of Belleville with assault after a woman suffered minor injuries after being slapped in the face in the downtown.
Alcohol was a factor in the incident.
