Bay of Quinte MP Ryan Williams is calling on the community to support Gleaners Food Bank as the cost of living continues to rise.
He visited staff and volunteers at Gleaners this week.
Williams noted the cost of groceries is up over 30% for the average family.
He says, “Families from all walks of life are needing to supplement their
grocery shopping or rely completely on food banks for basic necessities.”
Williams is urging the community to help with cash donations or to volunteer at Gleaners.
