Belleville police conducted quite a search Monday night after a vehicle being driven erratically hit a pole on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
The collision occurred just before 10 o’clock and the driver fled the scene.
Police used a K9 unit and a drone to search the area. A suspect was eventually located and arrested at 4 o’clock Tuesday morning.
He was released without being charged but an investigation continues.
