The construction, and testing is done, and there’ll be a grand opening for the McLeod Dam Green Energy project soon.
Quinte Conservation is planning an event for May 8th.
Quinte Conservation General Manager Terry Murphy says the McLeod Dam will be able to generate enough power to run 400 homes, and will reduce the equivalent of 5 thousand tonnes of carbon dioxide from being released in to the atmosphere.
