Belleville police responded to 64 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on April 7, 2022 to 5 a.m. on April 8, 2022.
Public Intoxication
Belleville police were called to the area of Dundas Street West and Sidney Street in the early morning hours on April 8 (Friday) for an intoxicated man who was causing a disturbance. Police say the man was banging on the door of a residence and officers arrested the man for being intoxicated in a public place. The 25-year-old local man was held in custody until he was sober and released with a provincial offence notice.
