Public transit in Prince Edward County will be the focus of county council’s Committee of the Whole Thursday afternoon.
The committee will hear a delegation from the fast-growing company Uride to explore how its flexible on-demand transportation service might work in the county.
Staff is recommending a one year pilot project be approved with Uride.
County Transit’s weekend Sandbanks shuttle and on-demand flexible bus runs will also be on the table for discussion.
Prince Edward County’s Committee of the Whole meets virtually or in-person at Highline Hall at 1 p.m.
