Belleville-based real estate salesperson Cathy Polan has been acclaimed as Provincial Director for Northeastern Ontario.
The announcement follows the annual conference of the Ontario Real Estate Association.
Polan says, “We will continue to advocate and fight to bring affordability home and help future generations of homeowners make their dream a reality.”
Polan has been active in real estate for 12 years.
Polan will serve a two-year term as Provincial Director for the Northeastern Ontario area on the OREA Board of Directors, representing Realtors from the Barrie, Kawartha Lakes, Muskoka Haliburton Orillia – The Lakelands, Northumberland Hills, Peterborough and the Kawarthas, Quinte and Southern Georgian Bay real estate boards.
Polan sys, “As a newly acclaimed director at OREA, I look forward to working with Realtors across the province, from Belleville to Thunder Bay and beyond, to help Ontario families find great places to live, work, and thrive,” said Ms. Polan. “We will continue to advocate and fight to bring affordability home and help future generations of homeowners make their dream a reality.”
Active in the real estate profession for 12 years, Polan is a salesperson at Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty Brokerage.
She has been a member of the Quinte & District Association of REALTORS® (QDAR) since 2009.
In 2019, she served as President of QDAR, where she also served as a Director and as a member of various committees within the organization.
Recently, Polan was also chair for the Ontario Collective and served as a Director for Information Technology Systems Ontario (ITSO).
The Ontario Real Estate Association represents 92,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 36 real estate boards throughout the province.
