April is Be a Donor Month in the City of Belleville.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk and Councillors Chris Malette, Kelly McCaw, Bill Sandison and Garnet Thompson joined members of the Transplant Advocate Association at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre this morning to raise the Be a Donor flag.
Be a Donor Month is designed to raise awareness of the increasing need for lifesaving organ and tissue donations.
One organ donor can save up to eight lives.
