It is the biggest game of the year for both the Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks.

The Hastings Prince Edward Regiment trophy, known as the Hasty Ps Cup will go to Wellington with a Dukes regulation win, or to Trenton with a tie, regulation or OT G-Hawks win.
If the Dukes win in OT, both teams would be tied in points, record (in head-to-head), and goals for and against.
