Earth day celebrations begin for real later this spring for Habitat For Humanity in Prince Edward County.
Habitat for Humanity says it’s hoped a straw bale home will be built on Barker Street across from the high school in Picton, starting in May, or June.
The home could be used as a model for future Habitat projects
Taking the lead on the build are the Bethany Christian Reformed Church, and the Picton Rotary Club.
