The Boyer Auto Group has again donated to help the less fortunate in the community.
Saturday the Belleville company donated $2,500 to Crime Stoppers Quinte at Belleville Nissan.
The money paid for a roast beef dinner for 100 vulnerable senior citizens in the community, with some of them living
in transition housing.
The meals, prepared by Amore Fine Foods were delivered March 19.
Agencies helping in the delivery were:
The Enrichment Centre for Mental Health – YouthHab – Home for Good – All Together Housing, and – The Grace Inn Homeless Shelter.
Crime Stoppers would like to extend special appreciation to Rosemary and Thyme for their assistance with the meal preparation, and Mystical Distributers for their contributions towards the effort.
