A Belleville resident has a court date in May following a sexual assault investigation in Cobourg.
The Criminal Investigation Branch of the Cobourg Police began the investigation last week.
On Monday, officers arrested a 25-year-old man and charged him with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and accessing child pornography.
The man was released on an undertaking with conditions.
