After going scoreless for more than half the game the Trenton Golden Hawks offence kicked in with three goals in the second and three more in the third in a 6-0 rout of the Caledon Admirals.
Dalton Bancroft scored twice with an assist. Bancroft leads Trenton with 33 goals and 86 points in 48 games.
Stefan Dobrich scored a goal and two assists and Matthew Cato added three assists.
Ethan Taylor stopped 27 shots for his 2nd shutout.
Trenton moves one point behind first place Wellington in the OJHL East Division and holds a game in hand.
The G-Hawks are in Lindsay tonight (Fri) while the Dukes are home to the Toronto Junior Canadiens.
Raiders “White-wash” Pirates
It was a white-wash in Picton as the Napanee Raiders blanked the Pirates 2-0 to open a 2-0 lead in their Junior “C” series.
Logan White scored the winner in the first period and Ben White added an empty netter for Napanee.
Bailey Maracle stopped 25 shots for the shutout.
Game 3 is tomorrow (Sat) night in Napanee.
