On March 15, 2022, just before midnight, city police were called to Johnson Street regarding a suspicious person.
Officers attended and located a male visibly intoxicated.
Police arrested the male for being intoxicated in a public place.
During the investigation, police learned that the male party was currently on a probation order stipulating he was to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
While in police custody, a quantity of drugs was located in his possession.
As a result, 35-year-old Jake Stevens was charged with breach of probation and possession of a controlled substance.
Stevens was released from custody with a court date of April 11, 2022.
