There will be a full mainline closure of the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge Thursday night.
The Highway 49 bridge, which is undergoing an extensive rehabilitation, will be closed to all traffic from 9 p.m. Thursday night through 6 a.m. on Friday.
Aecon Construction and Materials Ltd. reports the closure is needed to prepare for the next stage of work and will consist of installing temporary traffic signals, concrete barriers and pavement markings.
