Charges have been laid against a Belleville man following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
In the midnight hour, officers stopped a vehicle on Dundas Street East, in relation to Highway Traffic Act equipment violations.
Further investigation revealed the passenger of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
Officers say the suspect was in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, prescription meds, and a large amount of cash.
The 33-year-old has been charged with possession of the proceeds of crime, and seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He is in court this week.
