A medical marijuana grow operation planned for Centre Hastings is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Wednesday night Centre Hastings council removed a hold on property south of Madoc at 1142 Quin-Mo-Lac Road.
The move allows the owners to begin construction of an 8,000 square foot greenhouse and a building for drying marijuana.
One stipulation left is that the growing cannot begin until a licence is finally granted by Health Canada.
