Belleville police responded to 62 calls for service between 5 a.m. on February 15, 2022 and 5 a.m. on February 16, 2022.
Warrant and Domestic Assault
On February 15, 2022, Belleville police received several calls reporting a male and female fighting on College Street East. Police attended and learned the male was wanted on an outstanding warrant for assault and utter threats. As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville male was arrested for the warrant and further charged with assault in relation to the initial call for service. He was later released with an April 25, 2022 court date. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
Theft Catalytic Converter
On February 15, 2022 at 7:15 a.m., Belleville police were called to a Station Street address for reports of the theft of a catalytic converter. Police attended the scene and determined that three catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles on the property. There are no suspects at this time.
