Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Quinte West.
The person was struck by an older model, red- or burgundy-coloured small SUV around 8 p.m. Friday night while walking north on Loyalist Parkway between County Road 40 and 2nd Dug Hill Road.
The vehicle allegedly stopped but left the scene moments later, heading north on Loyalist Parkway.
The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
Police say the vehicle will likely have damage to the passenger side mirror and/or front passenger side fender.
