8 Wing/CFB Trenton presented a cheque for almost $200,000 to United Way Hastings Prince Edward on Friday.
The $196,235.91 raised through the annual National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign in 2021 is a record.
The theme of last year’s campaign was “Apart But Together At Heart” as the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the way their fundraising events were held.

The 2020 campaign raised more than $155,000.
