On February 3, 2022 shortly after 8:00 p.m., officers from the Bancroft OPP responded to the report of driver operating a vehicle in a dangerous manner in a private parking lot in the Town of Bancroft.
Officers attended the location and arrested the adult driver of the vehicle.
Justin Larue, a 28-year-old from Trenton has been charged with the criminal offences of:
- Dangerous operation
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Assault with intent to resist arrest
- Utter threats
The accused has also been charged with the following offences :
- Drive under suspension
- Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
- Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor
- Operate motor vehicle without insurance
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on March 22, 2022 in relation to the charges.
