Cobourg police have made an arrest in a case of domestic-related assault.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man in the downtown and charged him with four offences.
They are: domestic assault, domestic assault with a weapon, and two counts of breach of undertaking.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
