The City of Quinte West is seeking public input for possible parking changes to Henry Street in Trenton.
The city has received a number of complaints in regards to the volume of parking on the street and how it reduces traffic to one way and makes it difficult for residents to get in and out of their driveways.
City staff also have concerns about access for emergency vehicles and the impact the parking is having on road conditions.
The city is asking residents to rank their parking preferences at quintewest.site/henryst.
The options are:
- Parking is prohibited on the north side of the street.
- Alternating parking prohibitions on the north and south sides
- No change to parking restrictions
