A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle early this afternoon in the north end of Belleville.
Belleville police say it happened on Gilbert Street.
The Traffic Safety Unit remains on scene.
Gilbert Street is closed between Maple Drive and May Avenue for investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Belleville police.
