A fire on Milford Way in Prince Edward County Wednesday night took down a barn.
A representative of Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue says the call came in at approximately 8 p.m.
They say the barn was a total loss but there was only hay inside.
According Fire Chief Chad Brown they were on the scene for approximately three hours fighting the fire.
He said the cause of the fire is not yet known but it is under investigation and the damage is estimated at $20,000.
