The Chair of Hastings Prince Edward Board of Health has praised local heath care workers during the lengthy COVID-19 pandemic.
In a recent interview with Quinte News, Jo-Anne Albert said she was “very proud of their ongoing commitment to keeping the communities safe.”
Albert pointed to the initial event when planes landed at CFB Trenton, about 22 months ago, with passengers who had to be isolated.
She said, “There is great pressure on health care workers. They work weekends, holidays and it’s not over yet. I’m so very proud the response by the whole community is working so well.”
