Belleville city council has approved rezoning for two new developments on Station Street, allowing the projects to move ahead.
One rezoning change would allow another 30 affordable apartment units at a six-storey apartment building now under construction at 135 Station Street. The original plan called for 103 affordable units.
And, council gave final approval to rezoning allowing a four-storey apartment building at 151 Station Street.
The building would contain four apartments on land now occupied by a used vehicle business.
