A number of positions on various committees of the Municipality of Prince Edward County are vacant and need filling.
In a press release Monday it was announced that there are nine open positions across seven municipal committees.
The list includes:
- Cemetery Advisory Committee – 1 member
- Community and Economic Development Commission – 1 member
- Heritage Advisory Committee – 2 members
- North Marysburgh Recreation Board – 2 members
- Picton Recreation Board – 1 member
- Sophiasburgh Recreation Board – 2 members
- Traffic Advisory Committee – 1 member
Anyone over the age of 16 years old who is a permanent resident or a business owner in Prince Edward County is eligible to apply for the positions.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. on Friday, January 21 and you can do so on the county’s website.
