One more person has died from COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward.
The Health Unit reports the person was in the 60-69 age category.
After changes were made to how the HPE COVID-19 dashboard reports the numbers because of changes to testing, the health unit says there are 116 new high risk cases today.
There are now 1,258 active cases in the two counties.
There are currently 29 people in hospital and eight of those are in the Intensive Care Unit.
The health unit is reporting 20 outbreaks in high risk settings.
As of today, 87% of the population age five and up have received a first dose of a COVID vaccine, 79% are fully vaccinated and 68,097 residents have received their booster shot.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting 93 new cases in Northumberland.
