Quinte West firefighters were called to action in Batawa yesterday.
Around 1:30 p.m., calls came in regarding a hiker who had fallen at Batawa Ski Hill.
Quinte West Fire’s All-Terrain Unit along with Hastings-Quinte Paramedics responded to extricate the person.
The hiker was taken to Belleville General Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
