The COVID-19 outbreak at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital has been declared over.
The outbreak was originally declared in November when officials say six patients in the medical surgical unit on the second floor of the hospital tested positive for the virus.
In a press release Wednesday representatives of the hospital announced that the outbreak was officially declared over on December 14.
Visiting is once again open to inpatients and only one visitor may be scheduled per day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
COVID-19 screening and mandatory mask wearing are in place for anyone wishing to visit someone at the hospital.
