Update (9 a.m.): The rainfall warning has ended.
There is a wind warning and a rainfall warning in effect in the Bay of Quinte area Saturday.
From Belleville to Northumberland County people can expect strong winds in excess of 100 kilometres per hour beginning late in the afternoon and into the evening.
Rainfall between 20 and 40 millimetres is also expected to continue through the afternoon.
Environment Canada warns of water pooling, possible flash floods and possible utility outages as a result of the weather.
