The Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward is thankful for a generous gift from a local business.
Bardon Supplies in Belleville is gifting all plumbing fixtures and fittings for the new Humane Society Centre currently under construction on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
It works out to a $12,000 donation including seven washroom sinks and toilets, 16 counter, laundry, utility and kitchen sinks and a shower faucet set.
Bardon’s Vice-President and General Manager Bob Pryor salutes his employees saying they encouraged making the order the Humane Society had placed a gift.
Greg Sudds, Chair of the Capital Campaign says, “This is exciting and innovative support. Bob and his team at Bardon are the kind of caring people who are making the new HSHPE Centre a reality.”
The new Humane Society building is expected to be complete in June 2022.
