Five athletes from the Victory Barbell Club competed at the Ontario Junior Weightlifting Championships and all five finished on the podium.
Connor Bazilsky won gold in the men’s 61 kilogram division.
Earning silver in their respective weight classes were Ethan Yuke, Madelyn Tyrer, Ryker Pigden and Jack Manley.
Kayla Martindale, a grade 11 student at Centennial Secondary School earned a gold medal in the Female 64 kg division. Martindale is a meber of the Apollo Barbell Club.
