Developers of a six-storey 103-unit apartment building along Station Street have changed their plans.
The developers of the still under construction Magnolia Gardens had applied to the city for a rezoning allowing 30 more affordable apartment units and office space for Addictions and Mental Health Services-Hastings Prince Edward.
However that agency will no longer be a tenant in the office space.
At a Planning Advisory Committee meeting Monday members had concerns about a request for fewer parking spaces at the building but the developer said that in his experience tenants in affordable housing projects use very few parking spaces.
Staff will present a recommendation on the rezoning application at a future planning meeting.
