Belleville Police are investigating a break-in at a residence in the city’s east end on Friday.
Police were called just after 8 p.m. for reports of a break and enter on Briarwood Crescent.
According to the complainant, an unknown person had broken in between 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Police say it appeared that the person spent a considerable amount of time in the residence and that a large amount of cash and valuables were stolen.
They’re asking that anyone who may have seen anything suspicious during that time or who may have footage of the area contact Belleville Police.
