City of Quinte West hosting its first-ever holiday market
QUINTE WEST, Nov. 25, 2021 – The City of Quinte West will host a festive holiday market in Centennial Park for the first three weekends of December. The market will feature new vendors each weekend using the wooden pop-ups sheds, as well as food trucks, entertainment and activities for all ages.
From Dec. 3 until Dec. 19, the market will be open Fridays from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
In addition to food trucks and vendors, the market will feature live entertainment on Friday nights, live music on Saturday nights, free public skating at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens on Sundays from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., and visits with Santa on Sundays from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. The market will also welcome alpacas on Dec. 11 from 2:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and reindeer on Dec. 19 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. to Centennial Park.
